What does a wild do? I get 1 wild from time to time and it seems like it doesn't do anything.

if you get wild then it will increase the multiplier of the item you get, see the photo for reference.
If you get 4 of the same item with 1 Wild, then you will receive 10x the resources. I hope I am not confusing you.
