Hello!
You can't use pets right now, as there is no usage field introduced yet. The only way to use (or get advantage of your pets) is through TLRPG mining. You can select one of your pets in TLRPG mining section, and it will generate some amount of additional TLRPG every time you refill your fuel.
You can expect pet update (which will let us use pets in many ways) in the upcoming weeks.
