Early for me to understand how good or bad this is. I have my gf playing too and she is kingdom 3, so i could give some sort of comparison
Kingdom 5 (sub7) tlrpg storage upgrade from lvl 2 to 3 --56k
Kingdom 3 (sub9) tlrpg storage upgrade from lvl4 to 5 --46k
Kingdom 5 bronze storage lvl 2 to 3 --707k
Kingdom 3 bronze storage lvl 1 to 2 --161k
Kingdom 5 resources storage lvl 1 to 2 --412k
Kingdom 3 resources storage lvl 0 to 1 --37k
I know that the difference is the base bronze generation, but here is the biggest BUT of this update. We ALL got resetted to a lvl0 new player level. We all got lets say our progress adapted to this new system, and we all start from 0. But now the scaling of the system is not much fair. It's too much exponential. What will be upgrading of another 15 minutes for bronze, 1 million? This is exponentially ridicoulos. You can tell me that we got time to accumulate bronze and whatever you want, but actually i did not accumulate my bronze, i just used it, for what? Opening chest, forging item, upgrading businesses, upgrading kingdom tower.
So right now, new player could do this. Just dont upgrade their kindgdom and businesses, do battle and get bronze, go to the center and get the 1M, or directly buy bronze pack and then upgrade their storage capacity at very, very lower price compared to kingdom 5-6-7 OG and old player. By doing so, they will have a very good offline storage with a cheaper price. You can say this is better because if not, they will just get frustrated and leave seeing they cant reach and compete with older players, but is this system - to be online more and more and more time - the real way to fight bot, or is just a move to push player into buying bronze? I don't have the answer, this is just the first day feeling, the system for me is not that bad in the base mechanics, but number, math, economy, scaling, call it how you want, is not that balanced. I don't wanna play this game as a work game. I'm not a bot.
And the "expectation" of the future, is not a incentive to make me stay and play the game the creator want. My opinion is that you got to make people like the game. If not, nobody would play. Saying "you will regret, in the future we will be the biggest company of the world" is, for me, just a person saying his opinion. I could trust, and i trust, and i hope (for me, because i putted some money in, but firstly for him) that his dream come true. But in my life, i got backstabbed by person that should be friend, give them 10k+ and never see them back just because they were greedy for money and lost them all putting in the wrong sector/company, hoping that "everything will go up". But in the life things go up and go down.
Anyways, i dont think giving new account that boost is good. I see a near future where people start "new" secondary account, reach center, just do some battle and then trade 2 million bronze for a random item/resource. Obviously, that amount of bronze could be somehow locked into the account and not tradeable, or just the market wont support bronze trade but only item/pet/tlrpg trade.
Sum up
Scaling and number of storage upgrade is not sustainable and a good starting point for the system. Old player have better rate, but starting from 0 storage set them into a "stay on 24/24" to fully use it, otherwise, we are like a lvl0 player. That's not a balanced system
