Merge Adjacent Dirt Land for Tiered Production

I would like to suggest a change to how Dirt Land production is calculated when tiles of the same type are directly connected.

The idea:
If multiple Dirt Land plots are touching each other (sharing a border), they are treated as one larger “region” for production purposes. Depending on the total size of that connected region, its production scales up to match higher land tiers. For example:

A connected region of 100 Dirt Land would have the same production as Stone Land.

A connected region of 250 Dirt Land would have the same production as Bronze Land.

(Further thresholds could be added for higher tiers as needed.)

Benefits of this system:

Rewards players for smart placement and clustering of land instead of only raw quantity.

Gives smaller players a long‑term progression path by upgrading their existing Dirt Land through strategic expansion.

Creates clearer, more intuitive milestones (100 / 250 tiles, etc.) instead of only relying on RNG or purchases.

Technically this would mean the game checks for connected components of Dirt Land and assigns a production tier based on their size, rather than treating every tile in isolation.

Thank you for considering this – I think it would make land management and map planning much more strategic and satisfyi
