Remove or Improve winning streaks
Current winning streaks makes the battles 100 times worse. Due to:
- the % of health scales so much higher than the % of bronze. for example an easy monster can become harder than medium and STILL give less bronze. Why would I want to spend 2 extra minutes of fight instead of 20 seconds to get just 12 extra bronze? 12????
- defeating mobs gets boring, once you get to +40% or higher (just imagine +200%) it just becomes tedious and boring defeating even the easy mobs
- right now people are using the “run” option not because they’re not going to make it but because it’s starting to become super boring to fight that monster with extra health and they would rather reset the streak with this workaround
Solutions
Option 1: Removing them
Title says everything, just go back as it was before and everyone would be happy
Option 2: scale other stuff as well and give in battle bonus
Honestly there could be so many ideas that could actually make streaks great:
- scale XP too, they are higher in amount than bronze and the 5% would make it a little bit more worth it
- give an extra dice in game each 20 kill streaks, it’s double the difficulty but you have +1/2 of the power with that extra dice
- maybe every 100% difficulty increase (20 kill streaks) kills count double towards progression of the stage
- give extra spins on kill streaks milestones
if you don’t want to implement any of the above changes please remove the kill streaks then 🙏🏻
