The current game progression is not good for the game's overall health

The recent introduction of Guild Mobs and pet system brought significan changes to the game play. While before it felt like we had to spend hours killing mobs in battles just to finish our energy in an endless loop, now we have other options on how we want to spend our time and resources in the game. Also guild mobs are making the game more social and community centered, which is definitively a big pro if we compare it to the loneliness of the solo battles.

However, while i was surprised by the rewards given by defeating guild bosses i questioned myself are they going to break the game? But then i realized that this progression wasn't leading to anywhere. So i thought about classic rpgs and found an incredible amount of inconsistencies that are probably hurting the game and not making it appealing enough to new users.

LEVEL ISSUE
In classic RPGs reaching higher levels lead you to unlock new game features, that become exponentially more rewardings, unlocking extremely rare items such as gears or materials to upgrade gears. Missing rewards that you unlock from levelling up, doesn't bring any motivation to reach higher levels and potentially miss VIPs sales.

This reward system was initially set on the Kingdom Level (higher level better chests available), but its development has an exponentially growing difficult also connected to amount and value of lands you own to produce Ember and Verdite. So it's definitely not very motivational, even worse for f2p users.

LEVEL SYSTEM

The actual level system is quite poor, it's just a linear increasing multiplier from the same base level. Each level requires the same amount of mobs and rewards to progress. Higher level should require more activity and, at the same time, must provide exponentially increasing rewards.

LEVELLING REWARDS

At the moment the only rewards you get from levelling up are skill points and increased value stats. The major issue is that the more you progress the more the skills become expensive, providing, at the same time, the same increment (for example the attack value, every 10 levels become 1 point more expensive, but it still provide +1% per level).

GEAR SYSTEM

I know it's probaly planned to be reworked, so i won't spend much words on this topic. But i wanted to mention that having unique gears that can be found at higher level definitely motivate player to play and reach higher levels.

CHEST SYSTEM

Same as the gear system, but chests should be much more expensive and provide worthwhile material. Opening thousands to get nothing it's just pointless. This way people will farm more resources to get a chance to drop something useful.

BATTLE SYSTEM

For now it's quite ok, but the big rewards introduced with the guild mobs are making the system anacronistic. Good for early players to level up so they don't get oneshotted by high level guild mobs. But quite irrelevant for high lv players. This current system is probably going to experience the same Chest sytem fate, that became obsolete when the battle system was reworked.

I know people are dreaming the web3 phase, but as you could see we just started doing some progresses with the game, and we're still far from having a fully enjoyable product. Pushing the agenda to put the token online, while the game is still at this phase, won't fulfill any of your expectations. Usually it takes a couple of years before reaching a decent phase of development. As long as the game is progressing we should be happy with it. Each progression is a slightly better chance new people might enjoy TLRPG and become active users, or better active spenders.

These are actually good points, lets see if it gets enough upvotes to be seen by devs. Good insight though.

Excellent points bro.

i wanna add something for gears system:-
currently the guild boss and solo battles are way to go if in need of gears but its mostly trash for high level players who dont need T1 to T6 gears.
yes we do get some rare gems like T9-T10, but from chests its almost impossible....
Moreover, the forge system back then with insane forge and all was a better option.... if not that, atleast we need is to use scraps to level up. we already have scarp system, all that is left is to add their use in here.
This update can also help low level players to get their gears upgraded and can play both solos and guild boss easily without the fear of missing out on both rewards and enjoyment.

In related to chests, imo the battle chests has made it useless. we get more and better gears from there instead of opening 1 chest at a time and chance to miss ( Armory chests miss alot)

All in all, there are few points that needs to be taken in consider which can easily make the game 20% better if not more.
