VIP subscriptions need either a behavioral change or improved clarity

Based on my surprising and irritating experience at the end of my VIP subscription, I want to make some suggestions concerning how the boosts are handled. Regardless of the method implemented, something most definitely needs to be done so that other players aren’t caught off guard like I was. Otherwise, they may see their locked $TLRPG, bronze, and resource amounts reset to their non-VIP capacities the moment their subscriptions run out, as any uncollected $TLRPG, bronze, or resources which exceeded those capacities will suddenly disappear.

  1. Optimally, any accumulated amounts would auto-collect and be added to the player’s account, and all mining and production would reset to zero.

  2. Another possibility is for all generation to halt and accumulated amounts to freeze/bank until the player collects them, at which point locked $TLRPG mining could be refueled and bronze and resource production would start anew according to the player’s situation.

  3. At the very least, a prominent notice or alert could be placed in the pertinent areas, either for the duration of a player’s VIP subscription or once the countdown clock reaches a set time out from its expiration. Such a warning would give players a clear understanding of how their subscription functions in this regard and make them aware of what to expect before it happens, rather than learning it after the fact. (This is the more annoying option, though, as a player has to log in and collect those items just before their VIP subscription ends to maximize its value; not always an easy or convenient task to accomplish.)

Are you not able to see the end date of your subscription under the profile tab?

Option 1 seams reasonable.

I saw the date, yes, but only that, and so then figured out the exact time it would end. But that wasn't my point with this post.

About 3.5 hours out from that time, I refueled my locked $TLRPG mining and collected my accumulated bronze and resources. I was then grinding battles to earn as much XP as I could before the amounts stepped down, hoping to level up one more time. Upon its end, I went to claim and collect the generated $TLRPG and resources only to find they went from hundreds of thousands in bronze, thousands in core resources, maybe hundreds in ember (I didn't pay close attention on that one), and up to 10 $TLRPG (also didn't closely note that one) to very minuscule amounts because my non-VIP capacities are much smaller.

At a minimum, I REALLY would have appreciated some advance warning or an explicit declaration that would happen so as not to lose it all.

i agree. i collected my tokens, bronze and resources yesterday morning, and my vip was about to expire in 4 hours after that. so technically i lost 4 hours of productions for bronze and resources as i didnt collect it before the vip expired.
